Minaya can't make up his mind

The biggest surprise on Sunday was Astros ace Oswalt's appearance in trade talks, first in the Tejada discussions and later in conversations with the Mets regarding top outfield prospect Lastings Milledge and young righthander Brian Bannister.

The second biggest surprise is that Mets GM Omar Minaya didn't jump all over Oswalt immediately. Someone who spoke to Minaya said, "He still hasn't made up his mind,'' whether to trade Milledge for Oswalt or Giants ace Jason Schmidt, or just keep Milledge and hope Pedro Martinez and Tom Glavine can carry them to their first World Series title in 20 years.
