Beltran up for Comeback Player of the Year

Carlos Beltran will be up for Comeback Player of the year this year. He is among 12 finalists. The field plays like this:

And yet there is no Jose Valentin on this list. You have got to be kidding me!!

Valentin is on pace to hit .287 with 18 HR and 66 RBI this season, following a year in which he hit .170 in 147 at-bats for the Dodgers going from starter to bench player to player without a team in less than a year.

Maybe Valentin shouldn't win it but atleast acknowledge him for his accomplishments this year. The guy is simply on a tear.
