Floyd ready for tonight?

Chris Girandola at Mets.com writes about Cliff Floyd and why he was taken out of the game yesterday:

Cliff Floyd said he will have his left Achilles' tendon examined on Sunday morning after he aggravated it during the first inning of the Mets' 4-3 comeback win against the Phillies on Saturday.

"I'm a little worried," said Floyd, who spent most of June on the disabled list after he sprained his left ankle running the bases against the Dodgers on June 7. "It's been a chronic thing, and it's not something I want to have to deal with personally and for the team's sake. I have to be smart and let [manager] Willie [Randolph] know, because if I can't play, I don't want to put them in that situation."

The Mets' left fielder said the ankle flared up initially when he raced for a foul ball during Aaron Rowand's at-bat. Rowand hit a fly ball down the line in left, which Floyd ran after, only to have the ball fall into foul territory. Floyd pulled up hard before stopping himself with his hand against the wall.
