Garcia off the 40

Mets designated RHP Anderson Garcia for assignment.

This clears a spot for Ricky Ledee on the 40-man roster. Garcia spent a couple of days with the Mets in May, but he didn't get into a game. He had a 6.32 ERA in 20 appearances for Triple-A Norfolk.
