Milledge not sweating Green rumors

Peter Botte at The NY Daily News writes about Lastings Milledge and the possibility of him being replaced:

Lastings Milledge, who had two of the Mets' four hits against Phillies rookie Cole Hamels, isn't sweating the potential acquisition of Arizona outfielder Shawn Green or a corner outfield upgrade before postseason rosters are frozen on Sept. 1.

"The way I look at it is I'm here and I'm playing right now, so I'm not worried about that. If they were going to do something, my feeling is they would've done it already," Milledge said. "I'm here to play and I'm here to help the team win and be a part of a playoff team and hopefully get to the World Series. Anything else is irrelevant. I understand they have to do whatever they have to do to try to win it all."
