Update on Some Ex-Mets

Well, the Zambrano-Kazmir trade took another turn over this past weekend, as Scott Kazmir has been placed onto the DL for the rest of the season. This ends a year in which it looked like he'd finally reached his potential and would become aother dominant AL hurler. We wish him a full recovery, so that we can re-sign him in a few years from now.

Jeff Keppinger, traded mid-season, to the KC Royals, was also recently brought up to their major league roster (on a team, seemingly, with 50 second-sackers). We also wish Kep luck, and are sad we never saw what he could do with us (although Mr. V has surely provided us with enough great moments to take away that sadness pretty quickly!)
