Ring is back
Mets recalled LHP Royce Ring from Triple-A Norfolk.
Ring had a 2.97 ERA in 39 1/3 innings for Norfolk. He's never going to fulfill the promise that made him a first-round pick in 2002, but he's likely on his way to becoming a pretty good specialist. Left-handers hit just .137 against him.
