This Season's "Missing Link", Peter Gammons, To Return To Part-Time Duty Tuesday

The best news of this season, including the Mets clinching yesterday, came earlier today when we learned that baseball writer extraordinaire Peter Gammons will make his part-time return to ESPN's Baseball Tonight show on Tuesday, via remote from Boston. Gammons has been off tv as well as not writing his Insider column for ESPN.com since suffering a life-threatening brain aneurysm in late June. His recovery has been amazing, and it was great to see him at a Red Sox game a few weeks ago! Gammons is still not able to return to a full-time schedule, but it warms our hearts to see the dean of baseball writers return even part-time before the play-offs commence! Peter, we missed ya - keep up the great work and get back to 100% soon!!!!
