Could Zito pitch in New York?

Adam Rubin at his blog, Surfing the Mets, writes about Barry Zito and asks Johnny Damon if he thinks Zito can handle pitching in New York:

I would think he would adjust well (to New York). Barry's a guy who doesn't worry about much of anything. He has a game plan on and off the field ... and he's not going to let the Big Apple deter him. He comes from the Planet Zito. And it's not going to bother him. I think he would have a very positive impact and I think he would be comfortable here (in New York) very quickly.

I'm not sure what teams are showing the most interest in him, but the guy knows how to pitch, and he knows how to pitch in the postseason. He's a big-game pitcher.
