Mets don't want Reyes to play winter ball

At Rotoworld, they write about Jose Reyes and how the Mets don't want him to play winter ball this off season:

The Mets told Jose Reyes they don't want him following through on his ambition to play winter ball.

Reyes played winter ball after the 2004 season in part to prove he could stay healthy. Now he's been told to sit out the Dominican Winter League season because the Mets don't want to risk an injury. "Reyes is an important part of our team," GM Omar Minaya said. "That's why the Mets organization decided that he will not play."
