Sanchez gets the OK

Mark Hale at The NY Post, writes about Duaner Sanchez and his status on his comeback from surgery on his shoulder:

Duaner Sanchez has received important news. The Mets' set-up reliever was given "a clean bill of health," according to his agent, Bean Stringfellow.

Sanchez, who is coming back from a separated right shoulder, saw Mets team physician Struan Coleman this week, and, according to Stringfellow, the reliever should be able to start throwing. The agent said Sanchez "should be 100 percent ready for spring training."

The 27-year-old Sanchez (2.60 ERA in 49 games) was a critical member of the Mets' bullpen until he was injured in early August in a cab accident. His return is even more important with Chad Bradford having left for Baltimore and Guillermo Mota now a free agent.
