Minimal interest in Trachsel

John Delcos at Lo Hud writes about Steve Trachsel and why he thinks there is hardly any interest in him from any team:

Here we are, inside of two weeks before pitchers and catchers report, and Steve Trachsel doesn’t have a new baseball home. He did win 15 games last season, but there’s been no offers. Maybe it’s because teams remember how he spit the bit in the playoffs, and seemingly mailed in his last start. That’s why the Mets couldn’t say goodbye fast enough.

Word is, he’d like to stay in the National League, and there’s been reported interest from St. Louis, Houston, Washington and LA.
