Power Rankings

Dayn Perry at Fox sports just released his preseason power rankings. The rankings are released weekly and include all thirty teams. For the first list of the 2007 season Perry ranks the Mets #3 over all, which makes them the top NL team. Perry has the following comments about the Mets:

Without question the class of the NL. The rotation is the soft underbelly, but the Mets have plenty of arms in the mix. The offense is the best in the senior circuit, and Billy Wagner remains an elite, shutdown closer.
