Sele's No Savior

Eddie at WFAN, gives a good sign for the Mets early season:

Sele's no saviour, but consider this - he traditionally gets out of the gate well and does his best work early. Last year he started at Triple A Las Vegas for the Dodgers and went 3-0 with a 2.43 ERA. Called up on May 5, he then proceeded to go 3-0 in his first 6 starts with a 2.33 ERA. So he could be a stabilizer early while things, and other younger talent, settle in.
