Sosa's Decline

Adam Rubin at the NY Daily News writes about Jorge Josa and why he feels he was bad on 2006:

Jorge Sosa isn't resigned to the bullpen yet. Sosa, who went 3-11 with a 5.42 ERA for Atlanta and St. Louis last season in 45 appearances (13 starts), wants to land a rotation slot. "If they ask me to be a reliever, I've got to do it. It's a job," Sosa said through an interpreter. "But the reason I came here is to be a starter."

As for his dropoff from the previous year, when he went 13-3 with a 2.55 ERA as a Brave, Sosa cited fatigue from playing winter ball in '05-06. "I felt tired most of the year," he said.
