The First Four

John Delcos at Lo Hud, writes about last night's game and how the top of the order had no hits, but still won:

As I said, the Mets probably shouldn’t have won this game, at least not on paper. The first four hitters of the lineup – Reyes, Lo Duca, Beltran and Delgado – combined to 1 for 19 and the Mets seemed to leave a runner on base in every inning. But, as they’ve managed to do many teams since the start of last season, they found a way to win.
