Park Nipping on Pelfrey's Heals...

Chan Ho Park had another strong outing with the AAA New Orleans Zepyhrs yesterday, pitching 6 shut-out innings, striking out 6 with 2 hits and a walk. His strong performance came on the same day that projected 5th starter (and rookie) Mike Pelfrey made a start for St. Lucie and in the same 6 innings, he gave up 3 runs, 2 earned, with 2 strike-outs, 5 hits and 3 walks. Not a great start, not totally lousy, but he was pitching against Class A hitters and it would have been nice to see him dominate at that level. We hope that Pelfrey comes through in the bigs, as he is the centerpiece of our future pitching staff; it's still nice to know that Park is around, a mere phone call away, just in case...
