Wax Wright Unveiled Today

Over at NY 1, they write about David Wright and his Wax Model that was unveiled at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum today:

Heeding requests from fans of the third baseman, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum today unveiled a life-size wax model of David Wright, the first Mets player ever to be featured in the museum.

Museum officials say they cater to their visitors, who wanted the team from Queens to get equal billing alongside a Derek Jeter statue.

Wright will get to see his spitting image in person for the first time next week, along with the winner of a Mets fan contest held at the museum today.
