Alou Regrets Time In SF

Dylan Hernandez at Inside Bay Area, writes about Moises Alou and how he views his time spent with the Giants:

"I look back and to me it was a disappointment,"

Alou said. "We didn't do the things we expected to do."

Alou batted .312 with in his seasons with the Giants, but played in only 221 games. He and Barry Bonds, who was also hurt often, rarely played together.

The 40-year old Alou is fighting injuries again, this time soreness in his left knee. Because of that, Alou was in the Mets' lineup Monday for just the first time in four days.

Alou, who entered the series with the Giants batting .348, said he has enjoyed his time with the Mets.
