Mota Headed To Triple-A

Mark Hale at the New York Post, writes about Guillermo Mota and him heading to New Orleans for some extended spring training:

"It's not the people he's striking out," Conti said, "it's the stuff he's throwing."

When there are 16 games left on his suspension - potentially next week - Mota will be allowed to pitch in minor league games, not just extended spring training.

"He'll be a real important guy for us," Paul Lo Duca said. "He can be our sixth-, seventh- and eighth-inning guy. He can be all three."
