Gomez Over Matched?

At Rotoworld, they write about Carlos Gomez and how he's doing in the Majors so far:

Carlos Gomez went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts after taking over for the injured Carlos Beltran on Thursday and is hitless in 17 at-bats since May 18.

Ben Johnson is a better option in the New York outfield than Gomez right now, so the Mets may choose to send Gomez down when Moises Alou comes off the disabled list. Whether he gets a few more starts before that could depend on Beltran's status.
