Did Delgado Get Hot At The Wrong Time?

Carlos Delgado has managed to get his average up to .242 before the All-Star break and has a legitimate chance of getting 30 home runs and 100 RBI’s, but the question I’m asking myself is did Carlos get hot at the wrong time during the season?

Carlos got hot for two series, but they were just before the break. I’m a little worried that this break will bring him back tot the way he has been mostly all season long. Just the thought of this worries me.

I don’t think I can take another half of a season of the Mets clean up hitter batting below .230 and never hitting when the Mets need him to. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that I’m just paranoid, but one will never know until after the break.
