Game Recap:: Rockies 17 -- Mets 7

Oh...My...Goodness...

Just awful. Awful! Awful! Awful!

I don't think you understand how absolutely awful this game was. The Rockies scored...17...SEVENTEEN runs! The Rockies swept the messed up Mets out of Coors Field, picking up 20 hits. Orlando Hernandez, Guillermo Mota, Pedro Feliciano, and Scott Schoeneweis all got knocked around, giving up 5, 6, 3, and 2 earned runs each.

...ugh, just an absolute debacle...
...i'm not going into more detail, if you want to bring pain upon yourself, you can look up the rest of the stats yourself...

One would think that if you pick up 13 hits and score 7 runs, you would win the game...but no.

Jose Reyes went 0-5, reaching on an error, and later scoring.
Paul Lo Duca went 2-5, scoring 2 runs.
Carlos Beltran doubled in the top of the 9th for his only hit, and came around to score on Carlos Delgado's sac fly.

David Wright went 3-4 picking up 4 RBI. Wright knocked a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning.

...all this offense goes to waste...
