Minaya On The Trade Deadline

At CBS Sportsline they write about Omar Minaya and what he had to say about the upcoming trade deadline:

The conversations have definitely picked up," Minaya said. "(But) when you look at the pool of guys who are available, it's not exactly a very appealing pool."

"In the ideal world, it would've been nicer that he would've played two or three weeks ago and I would've seen if we needed to go out and get a bat or not," Minaya said.

"You get to a point where you better consider a 'B' plan just in case he's not ready. I'm always thinking about 'B' plans."
