17-year-old Ruben Tejada made his GCL debut Wedndesday and went 0-for-2.

Tejada was hitting .364/.466/.479 with 16 steals in the Venezuelan Summer League. He's still learning how to play now, but the native of Panama could emerge as the Mets' latest young phenom over the next couple of years.
