Player Update: Moises Alou

Danny Wild at MiLB.com writes about Moises Alou's latest rehab game:

Alou made his first start for the Cyclones and most likely his last rehab appearance before rejoining the New York Mets on Monday.

Returning from a torn left quadriceps, Alou went 1-for-4 with an RBI grounder in the first inning to plate the Cyclones' first run. Alou bounced into a double play with the bases loaded in the third, but the play scored Joaquin Rodriguez for Brooklyn's third run. The 41-year-old singled in the fourth and popped to right in the sixth before being replaced in the field two innings later.
