Glavine To Retire If Mets Win World Series

As Reported by the NY Post:

"If we were to win the World Series it [would be] real hard for me to say, 'Man, I want to play again next season,' " Glavine said yesterday. "Now you're walking out on top of the world.

"But if we had a disappointing ending like we had last year, there's a sense of unfinished business and a bad taste in your mouth that you want to have go away."

Now I am hoping that Glavine will retire at the end of the year.
