Pedro Helping From A Distance

Steve Popper at North Jersey writes about Jorge Sosa and how Pedro Martinez noticed a flaw in his delivery:

While rehabbing in Florida, Pedro Martinez has made a contribution to the Mets' success up here. He watches most games on TV and recently he was watching Jorge Sosa and noticed a flaw in his delivery. Martinez called bullpen coach Guy Conti, who relayed the information to Sosa and pitching coach Rick Peterson.

"He saw my arm angle was off," said Sosa, who credited the change for helping his turnaround in the bullpen. "It was making me a little slow in my delivery."
