Damion Easley:
Damion Easley has returned home and will miss the remainder of the season due to the severely sprained ankle he suffered last week.
Tough break for Easley who had his highest home run total since 2001.
Jose Valentin:
Jose Valentin will have X-rays on his fractured tibia in the next week to determine if there is a chance he can return before the end of the season.
Valentin wouldn't be available until mid-September even if his leg is close to being healed.

john, you have to put a good luck jersey up for valentin if he leaves...he saved second base for us last year and has been nothing but a class act since he got here
I had already planned on it...the only question is do I use 18 or 22?
