Game Recap:: Braves 13 -- Mets 5

It's finally over...

In what was the longest and most boring game to watch all year, or at least thats how it felt, the Mets got blown out by a score of 13-5.

El Duque was absolutely terrible tonight, only lasting 3 innings. He gave up 8 earned run on 6 hits and 4 walks. He struck out 2 batters.

...wow...
...his foot must not be healed...or something...that was terrible...

Aaron Sele, Mike Pelfrey and Willy Collazo pitched a combined 5 innings, allowing 5 runs between them. They allowed 7 hits and 4 walks. Pelfrey was the only pitched to record a strikeout.
Philip Humber was the only Met pitcher to not allow a run to score.

...let us just forget about tonight...

Jose Reyes may have broken his slump tonight, going 3-5 with THREE doubles!!

...please come out of that slump...now!...

David Wright hit an RBI double in the 7th inning for his only hit.
Moises Alou continued his hitting streak, now to 16 games, with a single and a solo home run tonight. Alou BLASTED a ball to deep left field in the 8th inning.

...well done...keep it up...

Paul Lo Duca continued his hot hitting, smacking a 2-run home run in the 4th inning.

...wow...he has turned it on these past 6 games...
