Game Recap:: Phillies 3 -- Mets 2

UGHHHHHHHHH...Not again...

The Mets lost again. To the Phillies again. In extra innings again. The Mets dropped the first game of the series to the Phillies by a score of 3-2 in 10 innings.

Tom Glavine pitched another gem, going 7 and 2/3 innings, allowing only 5 hits and 2 earned runs. The runs came on a 2-run home run in the 6th from Chase Utley. Glavine walked 2, and actually did not strike out a batter.

...another gem from Glav down the drain...

Pedro Feliciano finished out the 8th inning for Tom.
Billy Wagner pitched a PERFECT 9th inning, striking out Pat Burrell, Ryan Howard, and Aaron Rowand.

...thank you Billy...
...he might be the only arm i am confident with in the pen right now...

Aaron Heilman allowed a unearned run to score in the top of the 10th inning, following an error by Mike DiFelice and a botched throw to try and get the lead runner at 2nd.

...can you believe Heilman is 7-7...
...it doesn't make sense!!...

David Wright went 1-3 tonight, picking up one RBI and one run. This all came on a first inning home run to deep left field.

...keep it up David!...

Lastings Milledge went 1-3, picking up a double.
Moises Alou went 1-4, picking up one RBI with a run scoring single in the 4th inning.

...Alou has been on fire...

I'll leave it up to you readers to comment about the WONDERFUL strike zone we had tonight.
