Wright Not Used To Sitting

Marty Noble at Mets.com writes about David Wright and how his day off went:

Wright rarely has watched the Mets win -- or lose or play. Or do anything. As much as anyone, he has been a Mets participant. But with the Mets six games ahead of the second-place Phillies and with 21 games remaining in their regular season and the likelihood of more in October, Willie Randolph told Wright to be seated when the Mets played their third and final game against the Astros on Sunday.

"They tell me to take a day off, and when I do, they get on me," Wright said. "I don't know what I'll do. I don't have much experience. I'll probably just be bored."
