Omar's Thoughts On Willie

Anthony Di Como at Mets.com writes about Willie Randolph and how Omar Minaya thought of his job this season:

General manager Omar Minaya praised his manager after Sunday afternoon's season-ending loss to the Marlins, but wouldn't say whether or not Randolph's job in New York was safe.

"I owe it to sit down with my ownership and tell them what I think," Minaya said. "But I'm telling you that I am happy with the work that Willie Randolph has done here for the past few years."
