Lugo, the second former Rays reliever the Mets have picked up this winter, had a 4.30 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP in 37 2/3 innings for the A's last season. Overall, he has a 4.39 ERA and an 82/73 K/BB ratio in 133 1/3 innings over the last two years. He's just more middle relief fodder.
