Zephyrs Prelim Roster

The New Orleans Zephyrs' preliminary roster has been posted - and it includes a number of players who received a bit of playing time this Spring, including Tony Armas, Carlos Muniz, Joselo Diaz, Robinson Cancel, Anderson Hernandez, Argenis Reyes and Fernando Tatis. Part of the Mets' AAA strategy is to keep as many major-league ready, major league-experienced players on the roster as possible, first, because their parent club has had so many injuries, and second because their homegrown talent is still rather thin in at the upper levels. Let's hope we don't need to partake in their players too often, especially in light of all of the injuries experienced to date! Otherwise, it could become a very long summer...
