Bobby Valentine's Chiba Lotte Marines defeated the Softbank Hawks 4-0 Wednesday to advance to the Pacific League's championship series where they will face Trey Hillman's Nippon Ham Fighters.The Marines won the three-game series against Sadaharu Oh's Softbank Hawks two games to one and will take on the Fighters in the five-game championship series starting Saturday at Sapporo Dome.The Fighters, who finished first in the Pacific League with a 79-60-5 record, are the defending Japan Series champions.
