Willie not over analyzing Milledge

Steve Popper at North Jersey.com writes about Willie Randolph and his barley legal right fielder:

"I'm just going to let this kid play," Randolph said. "We've got to be careful we don't analyze this kid and go over every at-bat. He's in a situation he needs to play and have fun, and when the dust clears we'll see where we are.

"He's trying to find his way, how he fits in. Sometimes a year or so later you feel you've arrived. He's a baby. That's the thing about Lastings is that he's here and that's good, but there can be a case made for the fact that he should be in AAA. I'm not saying that's the way it should be, but this is a bonus for him. It's a nice luxury for him."
