LoDuca, Floyd and Woodward to have surgery

At Rotoworld, writes about Paul LoDuca, Cliff Floyd and Chris Woodward who will have surgery this week:

LoDuca:
Paul Lo Duca is scheduled for surgery next week to repair ligament damage in his left thumb.

The thumb injury lingered most of the season for Lo Duca, but he still managed to hit .318 during the regular season. He batted .275 (11-for-40) with six RBI during the postseason.

Floyd:
Cliff Floyd will have surgery Wednesday to address his left Achilles' trouble, getting a bone shaved and an ankle ligament repaired.

Floyd, who is set to become a free agent, has made it known that he would like to re-sign with the Mets. He went just 0-for-3 as a pinch-hitter during the NLCS because of the foot injury.

Woodward:
Chris Woodward is scheduled to have surgery to repair a labrum tear in his left shoulder on Monday.

The middle infielder is expected to need about three months to recover, so he should ready for the start of spring training.
