Perez gets the nod in 4th game

It looks like for now if the series between the Mets and the Dodgers goes to four games then the lefty Oliver Perez will get the ball.

Perez is 3-13 with a 6.55 ERA this season. I don't know if I'm too comfortable with this call. I mean if the series does go to the fourth game and the Mets are down two to one, do you really want to see Perez on the mound? Not I.

I would feel much more comfortable with Dave williams, but he sn't on the post season roster so there is no looking back on this one.

So go Perez and let's hope he has some more 2004 magic left in him for the rest of the post season.
