Floyd to Cubs?

At Rotoworld, they write about the Cubs possible interest in Cliff Floyd:

Although pitching is the priority at this point, the Cubs have some interest in bringing in Cliff Floyd to play left field.

The Cubs may go beyond $120 million in payroll at this rate. Matt Murton was a pretty good player last season and is still young enough to get better, but since the Cubs suddenly have all this money available to them, they might seek another upgrade. By signing someone like Floyd, at least they'd guarantee that Murton would continue to get plenty of playing time.
