Mets claim pitcher off of waivers

At Rotoworld, they write about the Mets aquiring a AAA pitcher from the Reds off of waivers:

Mets claimed RHP Jason Standridge off waivers from the Reds.

Standridge has no place on a team that couldn't find roster room for Heath Bell half of the time. The 28-year-old former Rays prospect has a 5.64 ERA and a 74/69 K/BB ratio in 119 2/3 innings as a major leaguer and he finished at 4.82 in 18 2/3 innings with the Reds last season. There are at least 10-20 better pitchers available as minor league free agents right now.
