Jennings on the block

Over at The Denver Post, writes about Jason Jennings and why he feels he might be on the trading block in the Winter Meetings:

If a deal can't be reached for Jennings, it increases the likelihood he will be traded at the winter meetings to address multiple needs. The Cardinals, Cubs, Astros, Twins and both New York teams - Mets could dangle Brian Bannister - are among those that have expressed interest.

"We want Jason back," manager Clint Hurdle said. "I know (general manager) Dan (O'Dowd) is working hard to get something done."

Opposing executives who have spoken with the Rockies said if they can't reach an agreement with Jennings, Colorado's preference is to get a starter and center fielder in return.
