The specifics on Glavine's contract

Glavine will make $10.5 million next year. The player option kicks in at $6 million if he pitches 160 innings and can increase to $10 million at 200 innings. However, by the time that happens, both sides might be ready to tear the agreement apart and try something else, just like they did last season. Glavine confirmed Friday that the Braves never made an offer. However, he still considered waiting for them to do something. "I wrestled with it," Glavine said. "Everybody who knows me knows how important my family is."
