A-Hern dominating in winter league

Eric Justic at Mets.com, writes about Anderson Hernandez and him in the Dominican Winter League:

It's been an interesting year for Anderson Hernandez.

Nine months ago, he was the New York Mets' Opening Day second baseman. A back injury derailed the 24-year-old infielder, who spent most of the season working on his batting stroke at Triple-A Norfolk. He hit .249 with the Tides but seems to be back on his way to Shea Stadium after dominating in the Dominican Winter League playoffs.

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound switch-hitter is second in the league with a .419 postseason batting average and 18 hits. He is also tied for the lead with 13 runs scored and has nine RBIs in 11 games with the Tigres del Licey.
