A-Hern killing in Winter Ball

Anderson Hernandez is the leading hitter in the Dominican Winter League playoffs, with a .387 average in 19 games for the Tigres del Licey.

Hernandez did not play in the first two games of the best-of-seven championship series against Aguilas Cibaenas, as Licey fell into an 0-2 hole. But he helped get the Tigres back into the series in Game 3 on Tuesday. The 24-year-old second baseman scored the tying run in the sixth inning of a 3-2 triumph.
