Paul Lo Duca's reps brought up the topic of an extension during the winter meetings, but Mets brass was not ready to discuss it. The issue figures to be broached again by Lo Duca's side during spring training, though there's been speculation the Mets may wait to see how things play out this season with other catchers before addressing their situation behind the plate for '08 and beyond.
