Mitchell not happy with MLB owners

John Delcos at Lo Hud, writes about George Mitchell and how he might be going to Congress over the lack of support from MLB:

Steroid Cop George Mitchell is unhappy with the cooperation the owners are giving him in his investigation. He even waved the Congressional stick, which ought to make MLB nervous.

MLB doesn't do well before Congress (they are one of the stooge teams that play the Globetrotters) and the last thing it wants is for all that dirty laundry to be aired, and I’m willing to bet there's a lot of it.

If MLB doesn't cooperate we're going to see Bud do plenty of sweating which is not a pretty sight.

The last thing I want to cover this spring is the steroid issue, but it could happen. What I am interested in seeing is how the Bonds issue plays out. He has an agreement with the Giants but the contract is not signed, sealed and delivered. Maybe the Giants will cut themselves loose of this headache and not bring him back. Keep a good thought.
