Sanchez About 75%

John Delcos at the Journal News, writes about Duaner Sanchez and how his progress is coming along:

"I am about 75 percent." Sanchez said. "I think I'll be ready, but I have to be patient about it. I can't rush it."

Previously all Sanchez could do was throw long-toss from 130 feet.

"He's coming along great," general manager Omar Minaya said. "But he still has a way to go. We're going be cautious with him. We want him to be around for the whole season."

Sanchez threw harder off flat ground, but said there isn't a timetable for throwing off the mound. His return date to the active roster is uncertain.

Sanchez plans to throw off flat ground tomorrow.
