Beltran On His Sac Bunt Yesterday

Carlos Beltran's fifth home run was one of the deciding factors in yesterday's 1-0 win over the Nationals, but in the first inning, he tried to make a difference with a bunt with runners at first and second. "I was just trying to get things going," said Beltran, who has been criticized in the past for that maneuver. "I know a lot of people want me to swing the bat. I'm trying to play the game to win. It's the right thing to do."
