Gomez Getting Notice

Carlos Gomez's is having an impressive start to the season in AAA New Orleans. If he can keep this pace up, he will run out of competition in the minors. This is Gomez's first year in New Orleans and his offensive numbers are incredible. It's no longer just the die hard Mets fan that is noticing him, today Roto world posted the following:

Carlos Gomez went 3-for-3 with a triple and two walks Monday for Triple-A New Orleans.

The 21-year-old Gomez is batting .419 with two triples and six doubles in 43 at-bats. He's only the third best outfield prospect in the Mets organization (assuming that Lastings Milledge still counts), but he'd be No. 1 on plenty of other teams.
